Marta Nezzo graduated from Padua, in 1995, with a degree thesis in History of Art History; she gets the SNS Phd (Perfezionamento, Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa) in 2002. In SNS she works on databases, interested in history of art, in close collaboration with CRIBECU. Since 2005 she’s Senior Lecturer (ricercatore confermato/professore aggregato)in Padua University, where she teached Museography and Museology, History of contemporary art and History of History of art. She’s especially interested in protection of artistic heritage, during the two World Wars: theory, history and ideologization. About it she wrote and spoke in Italy and abroad (Paris, INHA; Exeter, University of Exeter). She studied with full particulars some periodical (magazines and papers) of the XXth century (“Il Corriere della Sera”, “Il Selvaggio”, “Pagine d’arte”, “L’Esame”, "Bollettino d'arte", "L'Arte" etc.) and she analysed figures like Lionello Venturi, Ugo Ojetti e Rodolfo Pallucchini, Leonardo Dudreville e Mino Maccari. Among her publications is Critica d’arte in guerra: Ojetti 1914-1920 (2003); she also edited Il miraggio della concordia: Documenti sull’architettura e la decorazione del Bo e del Liviano (2008).
